Yet again another gold and another photo that isn't mine. Derek Drouin of Canada, won the gold in the men's high jump in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics this evening. For his winning jump he cleared an astounding 2.38 metres. Derek comes from Corunna, Ontario. In the 2012 summer olympics in London, he won a bronze medal. In the 2014 season he cleared 2.40 metres becoming one of then men to clear that height in an outdoor competition. At age 26 we hope to see Drouin again at the 2020 summer olympics!
